Spring and Fall business meetings hosted by NHAs, and annual February meeting in Washington, DC
ANHA committees offer opportunities to become involved in the organization and its activities
Partners closely with the National Park Service (NPS) on projects and publications, data collection and information exchange
Annual Congressional reception in Washington, DC attracts heritage area professionals and supporters, Congressional representatives and staff

Two studies, in 2004 and 2006, on the economic impacts of heritage tourism in NHAs
Heritage Development Institute (HDI) sponsors basics workshops across the country
Biennial International Heritage Development Conferences (June 2007 in Detroit, MI)
Actively promotes the principles and benefits of heritage development through education, leadership, and best practices.
